Idea: Instead of using "Real Life" and "Internet"...
So many people use the internet for vital work, communication, and emotional networking, that it seems unrealistic and false to slight internet life as ‘not real’ by comparison. People can be productive or lazy both online and offline - it’s humanity’s flaws, not the medium that make either form a worthless way of spending our time.

delaneyjoyce: elenatintil replied to your post: I take things too seriously sometimes. Time to sit… Just think “What would Jane Do?” lol Exactly! Now if you’ll all excuse me while I go write a satirical novel about my life… You are excused m’dear! I’ll be waiting for that novel… ;)

Internet Etiquette
The one single thing I seriously hate about the internet is the loss of a common standard of etiquette, politeness and common decency. I’m not referring to any one incident, but several years of people using the facelessness of the internet to say and do things that they would never do offline, face to face. I’m tired of being hurt, I’m tired of seeing other people hurt,...

Marjorie Liu on ASTONISHING X-MEN and... →
Marjorie Liu on Astonishing X-Men! And with a roster of (mostly) underused characters! Just about the only thing wrong with this picture is that I see it furthering Gambit/Frenzy which is a pairing I hate. Otherwise — awesome sauce!

bedabug: Generation Hope officially canceled I knew it was coming. It wasn’t a particularly well done series writing and planning wise. A good comic book series needs fun in it and there just wasn’t enough fun or funny moments in Gen Hope to make it really stick out as a worthwhile series in my opinion. If there’s no fun or lighthearted moments in it the series becomes to...
