when i was younger i was in mcdonalds and i had my tamagotchi with me and i was playing with it and there was another girl about my age with a tamagotchi too and we kept looking over to eachother and after a while she went to the bathroom and i followed a few minutes after and she had been waiting for me and we connected our tamagotchis and we made them have tamababies and it was the most scandalous thing i have ever done in my life to this day

One time I went shopping for shirts and suits, but then I found the most beautiful pair of socks and I thought, “I just have to buy this”. So when I did, and I was at the counter, the cashier told me, “You can get another pair of socks for a half off since we’re having a special sale.” So I did, I went and got another pair of socks and then they told me, this time, that if I buy another pair of socks, I’ll get another pair of socks for free…And so I bought another socks to get another pair of socks for free and they told me again that if I buy another pair of socks, this time, they’ll let me have two pairs of socks for free. Damn straight it wasn’t.

Ha, I remember having a very similar reaction. It’s nice because on fabric that thick it is going to gather more evenly anyhow, so you don’t have to worry about having the double/triple rows.

Sewing tip a wise woman once taught me: when gathering heavy fabric (like this damask used in Red’s cloak), sew a zig-zag over a line of dental floss, then pull the dental floss up to create gathers. No worries about thread breakage! I’ve been doing this method for years and it works GREAT.
