Writer, seamstress and artist. This blog is dedicated to entertaining those who enjoy good stories and laughter.

Generally I post or reblog intriguing, original or very humorous pictures, gifs and thoughts regarding the following fandoms:

X-Men, Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, Jane Austen, Firefly, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, etc.

I try to stay away from controversial subjects, although I will reblog occasional posts relating to the treatment of women, or the Pro-Life movement, if it presents information in a new and thought-provoking way.

As a writer and seamstress, I'll also include posts related to these areas of creativity.

I didn’t read Harry Potter until the series was finished. I didn’t watch LOST until the series was finished. Only recently have I begun seriously watching TV and having to do the whole ‘wait from week to week and season to season’ thing.

Oh it’s not that I haven’t waited for books before. I have. But not in a big overarching plot series like this. (Even with Twilight I totally unintentionally read the series the week the last book came out, so I didn’t have to wait at all. Which, yeah, it’s Twilight, but not waiting accidentally is always a perk).

I actually said several times that I wasn’t going to start reading ASoIaF until it was completed. This was mostly because I’d tried reading it before and at age 19 I hadn’t been ready for it. But it was also because I knew about the six year publication gap between “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons” and I didn’t want to get sucked into a series where there was a danger of having to wait that long for the next installment.

Ha. Jokes on me. I’m totally sucked in, and very soon I’m going to be in the waiting group.

Bahaha! So glad to see you getting this far. I agree, the first and third books are the best of the lot…unfortunately, ADWD doesn’t quite pick up as much as them, even if there are cool stuffs going on. GRRM stops just shy of some really really major stuff. Not to say that stuff doesn’t happen. It does. The Arya arc, for instance. Oh, man, the Arya arc. Gosh…it’s been forever since I read that book… (I borrowed it from my ex-RD just a week after it came out)

Wait, Arya is in ADWD? I thought she was only in AFFC? ARE THERE SPOILERS HERE???
