Rogue in Uncanny Avengers #5

She looked cute and fiesty, but her actions were way too much old Rogue and not near enough the woman she’s matured into.

Really? I don’t know if that’s cool or scary… Anyhow, thanks! I’ve been wondering about this for awhile but haven’t found a clear answer.

Seriously though, I’m not sure it’s good news. Rogue is not always written well (imho) and so far they haven’t been doing a great job over at Uncanny Avengers. She’s also been the least mentioned member of the all-women team, which has already had me concerned for awhile. *sigh*

Other birthday news? This was my gift from my boyfriend. I could not believe it when I opened the package - so cool!

I am THRILLED that Ellen Page will be back as Kitty, and Shawn Ashmore was a fairly decent Bobby - but man, no offense to Anna Paquin who is a good actress, but I do hope they revamp her original portrayal to include more of the fiesty Rogue we know and love from the comics and various TV series.

The random idea I got was them wrapping Christmas gifts for all of Magneto’s offspring and Rogue’s wrapping Lorna’s gift or something and then suddenly being all like “oh man this is so awkward” and Mags just laughing at her. 

It’s all sketchy!  I don’t know why I liked it all sketchy, but it’s all sketchy.  I’ll draw you extra fluff or something to make up for the lack of quality, Elena. XD <3  But I hope this is something along the lines of what you had in mind!
