Writer, seamstress and artist. This blog is dedicated to entertaining those who enjoy good stories and laughter.

Generally I post or reblog intriguing, original or very humorous pictures, gifs and thoughts regarding the following fandoms:

X-Men, Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, Jane Austen, Firefly, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, etc.

I try to stay away from controversial subjects, although I will reblog occasional posts relating to the treatment of women, or the Pro-Life movement, if it presents information in a new and thought-provoking way.

As a writer and seamstress, I'll also include posts related to these areas of creativity.

Just finished Ender’s Shadow. No one talk to me.

I WAS NOT EMOTIONALLY READY FOR THAT.

I thought “Oh I read Ender’s Game already a while ago, I know all about the final battle. I can handle it.” NO, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. And then Bean clinging to his mom? *falls off bed*

Oh god, both books are so good. Good is not the word. There is no word for how freaking fantastic these books are. I am know increasingly sad that they won’t really be able to make a movie for Bean or that includes so much of Bean’s perspective but I hope they spilled some of it into the movie.

Alright. I will actually post like two videos tomorrow talking about this book because there is so much to talk about and I cannot do it through text.

Wait until you read the rest of Bean’s series…

I love the ROTC group at my school. They had field day and based it on The Hunger Games. The Major was dressed as Seneca Crane and had the beard painted on. The Sergeants or Drill Masters(I don’t know the ranks, so these might be all horribly wrong) were Capitol people. All the Privates were tributes from certain districts and this burly white guy was Rue. I laughed so hard and regret not taking pictures.

That is AWESOME.

Let me just post and say how I excited I am for the freaking movie before the hype. AHHHHHHH. It was such a good book I hope they don’t trash it. I don’t think they can trash it lol, it’s just that good. While I was able to guess some of the twists, it was a good thing because it was EXACTLY what I wanted to happen. The last twist/chapter just freaking blew my mind though. I haven’t read the rest of the series, but can you blame me? It looks like this:

Did I mention Asa Butterfield (aka Hugo or Mini-Sherlock, etc.) will be playing Ender? I’M IN LOVE WITH HIM, IT’S SO PERFECT. Bean looks amazing. Petra looks amazing. Alai gets and A+. Dink wasn’t black in my head but the fact that he’s black makes it that much better, he’s pretty cute too. Bernard’s good.

Even people who I’m not impressed with I can’t wait to see. (Bonzo being Moses Arias? Eh who knows he could be fabulous. I never imagined Anderson as a woman but I supposed she could be. Abigail Breslin as Valentine? Ehhh well that could work. Peter is all blonde hair and blue eyed and not what I expected but he could be evil.

My body is ready. November 1st, 2013 here I come (crap….that’s a long time)

*freaks out*

Another Ender’s Game fan! Gosh I’ve been so lonely on my dash…

Remember when I made a post saying that the Doctor needs someone childlike?

queentimelady:

What if that’s Jenna’s character? I mean all of his latest companions have been these fiesty girls.

What if she’s the Luna Lovegood of Doctor Who?

What if she sees his bow tie, and says “Cool. I want one” and then proceeds to wear one?

What if she rolls around on the TARDIS floor smiling at stars?

What if their relationship is super father-daughter?

What if she giggles trying on hats with him?

What if she actually knows where she wants to travel?

What if her and the Doctor skip down streets?

What is she says these silly things that actually turn out to be deep (this could be considering Moffat’s fake excerpt)?

What if River gives them both a loving eye roll(time baby or not) whenever she sees them?

What if she asks River for hair tips?

What if she loves history so much she can get the Doctor out of sticky situations with historical figures?

What if every time they get terrified of a monster they do the Scooby Doo and Shaggy jump? And yet still manage to save the day?

What if she wants to tag along with River on one of her expeditions and we get an episode where she’s River’s companion?

What if Jenna’s character is nothing like any of these?

Just. What if? Obviously this gigantic wait is killing me inside and I need to know.

This would be kind of awesome… so far all we know is that her character will be able to outtalk the Doctor. Which doesn’t sound terribly promising in this regard, but who knows?
