Writer, seamstress and artist. This blog is dedicated to entertaining those who enjoy good stories and laughter.

Generally I post or reblog intriguing, original or very humorous pictures, gifs and thoughts regarding the following fandoms:

X-Men, Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, Jane Austen, Firefly, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, etc.

I try to stay away from controversial subjects, although I will reblog occasional posts relating to the treatment of women, or the Pro-Life movement, if it presents information in a new and thought-provoking way.

As a writer and seamstress, I'll also include posts related to these areas of creativity.

BECAUSE I DON’T NEED TO SLEEP

huladori:

would someone like to play a game of fancast for the Magnus family with me?  At any age.  And yes I have to go to sleep in a bit for work but this can be an ongoing thing.

Someone once suggested Noomi Rapace for Wanda, and I love that like SOSO much.  Magda would have to look like her though.  (or would it be so weird to have both Magda and Wanda, grown up, played by the same actress?  I really do love creepy casting like that)

I have no idea who could play Pietro, or Anya, though.

I haven’t been entirely pleased with any of the suggestions for Lorna along the line and recently wondered if maybe if the casting were race-bent, if that would open things up and make it work?  And the more I started to think about this, the more it made sense to me.  I mean there’s really no reason why she can’t be.  All we know about Lorna’s momma, really, is that she’s American (at least, that’s the only part of it that matters as to her storyline.)  And while Lorna is drawn white, and the House of M: Civil War storyline gives her mom as a white blonde, …really, why not?

So have been looking at actresses, and please, feel free to contribute more ideas if you have them, come up with these names:

Oh man… seriously I have trouble casting Lorna, and I did try to come up with a face claim for my RP account as Polaris but never did find anything satisfactory.

One idea that just came through my head was Georgia Moffet (Doctor Who, Merlin) if she could do a good American accent. She can definitely do spunk and intelligence and she’s got a gorgeous smile. She’d also be about the right age (and able to portray someone younger than her actual age if necessary).

Will be thinking of other ideas…
